Terms of Service - Undergraduate Students
1. Purpose of Engagement
The primary purpose of this engagement is to provide the Client with a personalized career advisory partnership. The goal is to equip the Client with a strategic approach, insider knowledge, and a powerful network to secure an exceptional career launch in high-demand fields such as Banking, Investment Management, FinTech, or Consulting. This is a bespoke service focused on giving the Client a distinct advantage in achieving their ambitious career goals.
2. Scope of Advisory Services
The Advisor will provide a "Personalized Career Launch Program" which includes the following core components as part of an ongoing collaboration throughout the Client's college career:
- Professional Brand Building: The Advisor will help the Client create a compelling professional narrative and optimize their LinkedIn profile to effectively showcase skills and experience to potential hiring managers.
- Deep Industry Exploration: The Advisor will provide in-depth analysis of key sectors including Banking, Investment Management, FinTech, and Consulting. This includes exploring specific job functions and identifying long-term roles to help the Client make informed academic and extracurricular choices.
- Targeted Networking Strategy: Once 2-4 areas of genuine interest are identified, the Advisor will teach the Client proven strategies to connect meaningfully with accomplished alumni and other professionals at target companies.
- Curated Professional Introductions: The Advisor will leverage their own high-level professional network to facilitate direct, purposeful introductions to experienced industry leaders for mentorship and critical insights. The goal is to facilitate 6-12 such substantive conversations within the first year of the engagement.
3. Anticipated Client Outcomes
While results are not guaranteed, clients who partner with the Advisor consistently gain:
- Strategic Clarity: A clear understanding of target industries and precise career paths.
- A Purpose-Built Network: A robust circle of professional contacts.
- Standout Applications: Resumes and cover letters that are crafted to resonate with elite firms.
- Referral Opportunities: Increased visibility for roles, potentially before they are widely advertised. 15
- Interview Mastery: Confidence and competence for interviews, built through targeted preparation.
- A Decisive Competitive Edge: A clear advantage over peers in securing top-tier internships and job offers.
4. Client Responsibilities
This engagement is a collaborative partnership. The Client agrees to be an active and motivated participant in the program. The Client is expected to:
- Proactively engage in the strategic planning process.
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding their academic and professional progress.
- Diligently follow through on networking strategies and introductions facilitated by the Advisor.
- Communicate openly and regularly with the Advisor.
5. Term of Engagement
This agreement is structured as an ongoing partnership. Based on the fee structure, there is a minimum initial engagement term of twelve (12) months. The partnership is designed to continue throughout the Client's undergraduate career to provide consistent support.
6. Disclaimer of Guarantee
The Advisor is committed to providing the services outlined in this agreement to the highest professional standard. However, the Client acknowledges that the Advisor cannot guarantee specific outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to, securing any particular internship, job offer, referral, or introduction. The Advisor's role is to provide strategic guidance, coaching, and access to a professional network to significantly enhance the Client's opportunities for success.
7. Confidentiality
Both the Advisor and the Client agree to keep all shared information, including personal details, career aspirations, and proprietary strategies, strictly confidential. This information will not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice to the other party. If the Client terminates the agreement, no refunds will be issued for fees already paid.
9. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Advisor and the Client, superseding all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements.
